Hillary Dang Senior Associate

Clients have relied on Hillary’s representation in multidistrict litigation, statewide coordinated proceedings, class actions, and government enforcement actions filed in federal and state courts throughout the country.  Additionally, Hillary has represented pharmaceutical companies and government contractors in False Claims Act litigation and government investigations.  Hillary’s litigation experience spans from initial case and dispositive motions assessment, to both bench and jury trials, and all fact and expert discovery, motions practice, and other trial preparation in between, including considerable work with company witnesses, medical and public health experts, and U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory experts.  Hillary has also advised clients on product liability exposure and litigation risk related to FDA regulations and guidance.

Hillary’s active pro bono practice includes advising clients on civil rights and immigration matters.  She has secured asylum for an individual from Cameroon and successfully argued for a renewed bond hearing for an unlawfully detained immigrant before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Prior to joining Orrick, Hillary practiced at Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C.  From 2020-2021, she clerked for the Honorable M. Casey Rodgers in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.  While in law school, Hillary completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Deena O. Dulgerian Senior Associate

Deena works on matters for a diverse range of clients, from international tech and utility construction companies, and pharmaceutical companies to the National Collegiate Athletic Association. From day one, she was an integral member of the winning trial team for the first collegiate football concussion and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy case to reach a jury trial for the NCAA, as well as managing the discovery process for several other of the NCAA’s football concussion cases. She is also active in multi-language international arbitration matters, working with clients and experts across the globe.

Recently, Deena has represented a number of technology companies, working on matters involving cryptocurrency investments and international service issues, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and other copyright and data access issues, and disputes related to disgruntled employees and stock options.

Deena has consistently maintained an active pro bono case load, having secured asylum for six individuals in the last three years. She currently represents an inmate through the the United States District Court for the Central District of California’s Pro Bono Civil Rights Panel and represented a tenant in an eviction action alongside Public Counsel.

Deena is a respected leader at Orrick. Since joining the firm, she has served as Co-Chair of the Middle Eastern and North African inclusion network and Co-Chair of the Los Angeles Office’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for several years, currently sits on the firmwide Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and was a featured speaker for Kōrero, Orrick’s Women’s Initiative’s monthly firmwide community conversations. In 2022, Deena received the firm’s Community Responsibility Award for her humanitarian work with the Armenian Bar Association in connection with the war by Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabagh.

Deena is an active member of the Armenian community, serving as Co-Vice Chair of the Armenian Woman’s Bar Association. Nathan Dullum Claims Counsel

Nathan represents and advises the firm on all issues regarding claims and is responsible for managing the firm’s complex litigation strategies. He retains and supervises outside defense counsel, coordinates coverage and related issues with the firm’s insurance carriers, and ensures the effective and efficient defense of claims against the firm. Nathan is also a member of Orrick’s Risk Management Committee, responsible for promoting risk awareness and prevention through risk management training, internal firm publications, and risk management audits.

Prior to taking on his current role, Nathan was a member of Orrick's Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. With over two decades of litigation and trial experience, Nathan has practiced before state and federal courts and has arbitrated matters before The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and the International Center for Dispute Resolution.

Nathan joined Orrick as a summer associate in 2001. In 2007, he took a brief leave of absence to work as a prosecutor in the San Francisco County District Attorney’s Office.

In addition to counsel work and acting as an arbitrator, Siegfried also acts as an expert witness before German courts as well as courts in the United States and the United Kingdom and before regulatory institutions.

His experience includes disputes in the areas of M&A, energy, investment protection, engineering and construction, financing, joint ventures, and intellectual property.
