Taylor is an Associate in Orrick’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the Real Estate Group.

She advises opportunity, investment and private equity funds, institutional investors and developers on commercial real estate transactions including joint venture structuring, financing, development, acquisitions, sales, lease agreements, and other corporate real estate activities. Taylor is familiar with structuring and drafting corporate organizational agreements, financing, acquisition and disposition documents. She has experience with a variety of asset types, including commercial, mixed-use and residential properties. Further, she regularly advises startups, growth stage companies and not-for-profit organizations on their leasing transactions.

  • Taylor joined Orrick in 2016 as a Summer Associate. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor served as the President of Georgetown Law’s Women’s Legal Alliance and co-chaired the Equal Justice Foundation. She served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Beverly Reid-O’Connell of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Additionally, Taylor served as a student attorney for Georgetown’s Social Enterprise and Nonprofit Law Clinic, where she formed a nonprofit corporation, drafted the corporation's organizational documents, led the corporation’s first Board meeting, and helped the client apply for federal tax-exempt status.

  • Taylor was a member of the team that advised:

    • A high-profile opportunity fund on the acquisition of undeveloped land in San Francisco, CA to develop residential condominium units valuing over $250 million.

    • An international opportunity fund on the $151.1 million sale of a hotel across from Battery Park in Manhattan, NY. Also provided the $96.1 million of seller financing to the buyer.

    • An international opportunity fund in its investment in the redevelopment of a landmarked residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side completed in 1908. The transaction involved a complex conversion of a mezzanine loan and junior mortgage participation interest into a controlling preferred equity position for the fund.

    • An international opportunity fund on the $58 million acquisition and related financing of a 4-story, 131,885 square-foot mixed-use building located in San Francisco, CA.
