Congratulations to restructuring partner Marc Levinson on his selection as Chair of the Board of Regents of the American College of Bankruptcy ("College"). Mr. Levinson, who has been a Fellow of the College since 1998, previously served as Ninth Circuit Regent, as Secretary and as a member of the College's Board of Directors.

Mr. Levinson is nationally recognized for his capabilities in complex reorganizations and restructurings, financially-distressed municipalities, out-of-court workouts and other insolvency matters. He frequently lectures on bankruptcy, and on municipal and corporate insolvency and reorganization topics, and has spoken to numerous bar associations, in-house counsel and industry groups. Mr. Levinson served as chief bankruptcy counsel to the California cities Vallejo and Stockton in their chapter 9 cases.
The College is an honorary association of bankruptcy and insolvency professionals. The Board of Regents is the body charged with selecting candidates to the College, and does so based on a record of the highest standard of professionalism, ethics, character, integrity, leadership and professional achievement in the fields of restructuring and insolvency.
