As the European venture capital market continues to grow, Orrick is again the #1 venture capital law firm in Europe, according to Pitchbook’s 2018 annual report. This is the third year in a row that Orrick has dominated the European market. Pitchbook reports that the firm completed 139 deals in Europe in 2018, more than three times as many as the runner up firm.
Globally, the firm ranked #3 for venture capital, helping raise $14 billion in 2018, with over 850 deals completed in 30 countries across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. This included helping six clients achieve unicorn status in 2018: Asana, Convoy, Graphcore, HashiCorp, PagerDuty and Revolut.
