Orrick Named to NLJ's 2016 IP Hot List

National Law Journal | June.06.2016

Orrick has been named to the National Law Journal's 2016 IP Hot List for the second time. This annual list recognizes 15 law firms that set the bar in intellectual property law in 2015.

In its profile of Orrick, the NLJ noted that, "Orrick prevailed in some of 2015's biggest patent, copyright and trade secrets cases." The NLJ highlighted our summary-judgment victory for clients LG Electronics Inc. and AT&T Inc. in the long-running patent case Adaptix v. AT&T Mobility, and the firm's successful defense of Dish Network's commercial-skipping Hopper DVR technology against contract and copyright claims brought by the major TV networks.

Stanton Dodge of Dish Network reported: "When I hire Orrick, I know I get a team that will run through brick walls to win."
