Rachel Gould is experienced in practicing both Real Estate and Structured Finance law. Her practice is focused on the representation of opportunity funds, investment banks, financial institutions, pension funds, pension fund advisors, operators, schools and universities in various multi-jurisdictional, multi-property finance transactions, and real property, hospitality and equipment acquisitions and dispositions, including acquisitions through the bankruptcy processes. Rachel has structured, drafted and closed loan transactions for securitization in the capital markets, as well as construction, permanent, acquisition and bridge financings, syndications and participation loans including A/B structures, mezzanine loans, credit tenant loans, bond financings, asset-based financings and the acquisition and disposition of mortgage loans. Additionally, Rachel represents financial institutions, special servicers and other entities in the restructuring, workout and foreclosure of mortgage loans.
Prior to joining Orrick, she was general counsel and managing director of NewOak Capital LLC, an investment banking services firm in New York.
