Michael Delikat, a partner in the New York office, serves as Chair of Orrick’s Global Employment Law Practice, which has employment law teams in the European Union, Asia as well as the United States.
He also is the founder of the firm’s Whistleblower Task Force. He previously served as the Managing Director of Orrick’s Litigation Division.
Under Mike's leadership, Orrick’s Employment Law & Litigation group was recently named Labor & Employment Department of the Year in California for the fourth consecutive year by The Recorder, the premier source for legal news, in recognition of their significant wins on behalf of leading multinational companies on today’s most complex and challenging employment law matters. He represents a broad range of major corporations in all facets of labor and employment law. Mike has an active trial, arbitration and appellate practice and handles a number of high-visibility class action and impact cases. Mike has extensive experience with litigation arising from trade secret misappropriation and the enforcement of post-employment restrictions, EEOC systemic investigations and litigations, wage-and-hour collective actions and other class actions based on gender and race, with particular expertise representing companies in the financial services industry.
Hélène Daher, is an employment Partner in Orrick’s Paris office.
Hélène assists and represents French and international clients in all aspects of employment law (pre-litigation, litigation and transactional matters) as well as in their day-to-day human resources needs, including national, international and cross-border issues.
She advises a number of large-scale international companies as well as French CAC 40 companies active in particular in the Financial, Food, Pharmaceutical, and Construction industries.
Hélène has primarily developed an in-depth expertise in major collective redundancies and reorganizations, including assistance in the definition of the strategy and in its implementation, as well as in top management packages and terminations.
She has also been involved in landmark M&A transactions, both in France and cross-border, advising clients pre- and post-integration, in particular on information and consultation processes.
Hélène also handles complex disputes involving trade-unions, employee representatives and executive employees.
Before joining Orrick, Hélène was Counsel at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris. She previously worked as a lawyer at Hogan Lovells Paris LLP and Baker & McKenzie. Hélène joined Orrick Rambaud Martel in May 2016.
Mandy Perry, a partner in the London office, is a member of the Employment Group. Mandy’s practice includes acting in high value litigation disputes in the High Court and Employment Tribunal where she has gained particular expertise in claims involving whistleblowing, discrimination and post termination restrictions.
Mandy specialises in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law and advises clients across diverse sectors with particular emphasis on corporate and technology clients.
Mandy advises on the strategy and handling of redundancies, wrongful and unfair dismissals, TUPE, cross-border disputes, financial services remuneration issues, data protection and a full spectrum of employment-related legal issues.
Legal 500 describe Mandy as "a joy to work with, very experienced and knowledgeable". She is an accomplished speaker and regularly provides client training on legal updates, diversity matters and presents on all aspects of the employment relationship.
Dr. André Zimmermann, a Certified Specialist for Employment Law (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht), heads Orrick’s German Employment Practice. With around ten years of international experience, André is well-versed in restructuring and headcount reduction, employment aspects of M&A transactions, and employment related litigation.
André is listed as "frequently recommended" employment law expert by JUVE Handbook of German Commercial Law Firms, editions 2017/2018 and 2018/2019, Germany's leading lawyer ranking. Clients recommend André to JUVE as “straight shooter" and "always refreshingly honest".

Most recently, André has advised leading multinational technology companies such as AppAnnie, Facebook, Flexera, GitHub, NVIDIA, Optimizely, Sabre, Sensata Technologies, Splunk and The Trade Desk on various employment matters in Germany.
Having long-standing experience in negotiating with works councils and unions in restructuring measures of all kind, a special focus of André's practice is on restructuring, outsourcing and headcount reductions. He is an acknowledged specialist in employing third-party personnel, especially through temporary agency work.

Mario, a lawyer in Orrick's Milan office, is a member of the Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.
Mario deals with labor law and industrial relations, assisting Italian and foreign clients, both in judicial and out-of-court matters, related to every aspect of the management of employment relationship, agency relationship and self-employment relationship in all its form including inter alia:
Specifically, Mario assists clients in the negotiation of self-employment and employment agreements, during their respective relationships as well as in their termination, with the stated objective of guaranteeing high quality services according to rigorous detailed studies and constant interaction with the clients.
His clients operate in the tourism, tertiary and services sector, as well as credit and chemistry sector and in the public administration (i.e. companies owned by the latter).
Mario has also gained considerable experience in managing relationships of the companies with the members of their Board as well as in disputes between social security institutions and companies.
Mario is author of numerous articles in the field of labor law published in trade magazines.
He is registered in the Milan Bar Association, as well as being both a member of AGI – (Italian Employment Lawyers Association) and of the Italian Journalists Association.
