Cameron advises on energy regulatory and project matters with a focus on nuclear and fusion technologies.
Cameron has supported nuclear and fusion companies across the entire life cycle on a variety of regulatory and commercial matters. With experience before the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), she can assist clients on traditional and novel NRC licensing, project development, government funding, and ongoing regulatory compliance. Cameron also regularly assists on matters involving nuclear export controls and other energy-related trade compliance issues.

Prior to law school, Cameron worked for a large U.S. utility company in its public policy department and with a D.C.-based think tank focused on energy innovation. Her experience advocating for and drafting legislation gives her a unique perspective into the laws governing the energy sector. Cameron also completed a Fulbright fellowship in Kutaisi, Georgia (country) and maintains connections in the Black Sea region.

- Advise advanced reactor developers on NRC licensing strategy
- Successfully defended fuel cycle facility applicant in NRC adjudication and Commission appeal
- Advise multiple nuclear reactor, fuel cycle, and supplier companies on NRC export controls and DOE export authorization
- Assist with DOE funding and nuclear facility authorization applications and contract negotiations
