He advises on bilateral, club and syndicated financings for acquisitions, dividend recapitalizations, construction and refinancings. He has extensive experience in financings in the casino gaming (commercial and tribal) and technology sectors.

Ryan’s practice includes a range of intellectual property and related subjects, including copyright and trademark infringement, false advertising, and the Communications Decency Act.
Ryan graduated from Harvard Law School, where he co-led a student support team for defendants in the Cambridge homeless diversion court program. Ryan also participated in the Berkman Klein Center’s Cyberlaw Clinic where he contributed to an amicus brief in a copyright appeal before the Second Circuit and advised clients on matters of data privacy. In law school, Ryan served as a legal intern with the DOJ’s Environmental Enforcement Division and the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona.

Chris is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales with experience acting for and against States, commercial parties and individuals in commercial arbitration and litigation. He often works on cross-border disputes, spanning the UK, Canada, Peru, Brazil, Romania, Italy and France.

Lorenzo works with litigation attorneys and third party vendors to manage the review and production of documents relevant to investigations and litigation. This work includes using early case assessment technology to analyze, categorize and cull data. He also manages teams of skilled professionals performing document review, redaction, analysis, production and drafting privilege logs. Mr. Lista assists the litigation team to prepare for trial, including drafting deposition summaries, factual memoranda and exhibit charts. Lorenzo also works with practice office attorneys on transactional tasks, including contract review and due diligence.
Prior to joining Orrick, Lorenzo interned with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Pittsburgh and with the University of Pittsburgh Elder Law Clinic.

David is a partner in Orrick's Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group based in New York and co-head of Orrick's Bankruptcy Litigation Working Group. His practice focuses on representing lenders, underwriters, and large public and private companies in financial disputes throughout the litigation process, from pre-litigation dispute resolution to success at trial.
David has litigated high-stakes bench and jury trials and pretrial proceedings involving nine-figure secured claims in bankruptcy, multi-billion dollar securities offerings, complex long-term supply contracts, and valuable trademarks.
David also has years of experience litigating distressed asset and syndicated loan trades, contract disputes, and residential mortgage-backed securities issuances for both plaintiffs and defendants. David's background in computer science and mathematics allows him to quickly master complex financial transactions and craft effective litigation strategies for his clients.

Sara represents clients across the United States, Europe and Asia in the energy and infrastructure, real estate, licensing and distribution, defense, and aerospace industries. She has experience handling disputes governed by French, Swiss, Iranian, and US (Maryland, New York, Washington, Illinois) law in most of the major arbitral forums, including the ICC, HKIAC, ICSID, and the Swiss Arbitration Centre.
With a strong background in Public International Law, Sara brings a nuanced understanding of the international legal frameworks that impact cross-border disputes to her cases. She also has a keen interest in defense technology and aviation, combining industry-specific knowledge with a solutions-oriented mindset to tackle the unique legal challenges these fields present.
Before joining Orrick, Sara gained valuable experience working in the Emerging Companies department of another major international law firm in New York City. She also represented the City of New York in family court, prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases for two years. In addition to her legal practice, Sara serves as a coach for the International Criminal Court moot court and is a Steering Committee member of the young practitioners’ group of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR).
Sara is recognised for International Arbitration by Legal 500 France.
