Agatha Kluk

Partner

New York

Agatha Kluk advises founders and growth-stage companies at the moments that matter most — from formation and first capital to scaled growth, strategic transactions and exit.

Agatha brings both legal precision and firsthand entrepreneurial experience to her practice, offering practical, business-minded guidance grounded in having built and scaled a law firm herself.

Agatha works closely with emerging and high-growth companies across consumer, e-commerce, AI, digital direct-to-consumer, fintech, and cleantech sectors. She counsels companies on early incubation, venture and growth financings, debt transactions and mergers and acquisitions, serving as a trusted advisor as leadership teams navigate rapid expansion and evolving market conditions.

In addition to transactional work, Agatha is often called upon as a strategic sounding board to founders and boards facing complex or sensitive challenges, including product issues, founder transitions and complex governance matters. Investors, including venture and angel funds, also rely on her for guidance on investment transactions across consumer and technology-driven industries.

Her client experience includes advising companies such as Forerunner Technologies, Goop Kitchen, Mush Foods, Goop, June Point Lending, Pietra, Better.com, Roon, Poppin, Drink Ghia, Monograph, Bedrock Energy, Soft Services and venture and other private capital funds such as Blue Owl, True Beauty Ventures, Gutter Capital, ReDesign Health and Treasury Fund.

Before joining Orrick, Agatha founded and grew Kluk Farber Law from a solo practice into a 12-lawyer boutique firm, later leading its combination with Perkins Coie, where she served as a partner.

Agatha is a frequent writer and speaker on entrepreneurship and the evolving role of lawyers in building innovative businesses.
