  • Gina Marek joins Orrick’s Technology Transactions team as a partner in Silicon Valley.
  • Gina advises emerging and high-growth companies on foundational inbound IP grants/rights, strategic collaborations and joint development arrangements, and bet-the-company IPR conveyances. She also represents investors in venture financings and exits.
  • She focuses on clients at the intersection of life sciences and technology, with deep experience across pharmaceuticals, healthtech, software, hardware, e-commerce, internet and media.
  • Gina joins from Gunderson Dettmer, where she served as Co-Chair of the Strategic Licensing & Transactions Group.
  • Gina’s hire follows Orrick’s additions this year of NY tech companies advisor Agatha Kluk and former USPTO Solicitor Farheena Rasheed.
