Orrick has advised RSBG SE and their portfolio company Qvest Group, a world-leading systems architect and ICT integrator, on the acquisition of the majority of OnPrem Solution Partners LLC, a highly reputed consultancy across the media and entertainment supply chain in the USA.

OnPrem’s expertise in business and technology consulting, especially its focus on the digital media supply chain, will complement and extend Qvest Group’s portfolio and lay the foundation to gain a foothold on the U.S. market.

Essen, Germany based RSBG SE is a wholly owned subsidiary of RAG-Stiftung and primarily invests in companies whose products and services are playing a significant role in global changes in the areas of demographic development, climate change and new technologies.

Qvest Group with headquarters in Cologne, Germany and further offices across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, has been accelerating the digital transformation of its clients, offering capabilities in technology design consultancy and systems integration, software development, cloud engineering, and technical infrastructure operations.

OnPrem with headquarters in Los Angeles and additional offices in New York and Austin, is an end-to-end solution provider that strategizes, advises, designs and develops technology solutions, leveraging their expertise in content, customers and data for media and entertainment and consumer products industries.

The transaction was legally managed by Jan Gudlick, Group General Counsel of RSBG SE, who was supported by an international Orrick team led by partners Sven Greulich (Düsseldorf) and Tal Hacohen (New York). Both have already acted for RSBG SE on several occasions in connection with investments in the United States and Canada.
