Shanghai-based intellectual property partner Ethan Yufeng Ma was quoted in the article which explains the IP challenges that Chinese companies are facing in view of globalization and the increasing trade tensions between China and the U.S., as well as China’s responses to the U.S. after being accused of copying foreign technology.
“The U.S. has tightened foreign investments and technology exports through legislation, which makes it more challenging for Chinese companies to invest in the U.S. tech sector. The Chinese companies may face the risks of being accused of IP infringements in the process of globalization… Export control will become an inevitable challenge for Chinese enterprises,” said Ethan.
