2023 The Bond Buyer California Public Finance Conference

We are pleased to co-chair this year’s California Public Finance conference hosted by The Bond Buyer in San Francisco. The Bond Buyer California Public Finance Conference brings together industry experts and innovators to address the shifting muni landscape and the sector’s biggest challenges and opportunities — from regulation and legislation to ESG and infrastructure.

Members of the Orrick Public Finance team will participate, and we hope to see you there!

• Patricia Eichar serves as conference co-chair and will moderate the panel discussion “How to Do DEI When Times Are Tough” on Friday, October 20, which will focus on DEI in the public sector and what organizations can do to promote DEI in light of the recent SCOTUS decision on Affirmative Action.
• Devin Brennan will moderate the panel discussion “Latest on the Water Front” on Thursday, October 19, which will focus on California’s water situation and provide insights on the status of desalination projects.
• John Palmer joins the panel discussion “Staring Down the Transit Abyss and Coming Up with Innovative Solutions” on Thursday, October 19, which will offer insights on innovative ways in which agencies are trying to avert a transit crisis including Federal funding.
