Olamide Olusesi is an Intellectual Property Litigation associate in Orrick’s Washington, D.C., office. His practice focuses on intellectual property matters.

Olamide works on matters involving copyright, patent, and trademark litigation before the International Trade Commission (ITC) and federal district courts. He also has experience with post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Olamide’s practice involves a diverse range of technologies including medical devices, electronics, and communications software, such as voice over IP software.

Olamide graduated with honors from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as an Associate of The George Washington University Law Review and Vice President of Finance of the Student Bar Association. He also interned at the United States Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights.

Prior to law school, Olamide attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics. While at UNC, he worked as a research assistant in a biological physics laboratory and served as Student Counsel in the Student Attorney General’s Office for the University Honor System.
