Emily is a member of the Energy and Infrastructure group and has experience working on a range of domestic and international renewable energy projects, including solar PV, wind, biomass and energy from waste.

  • M&A
    • Infracapital on its existing JV with Amarenco to develop agricultural solar projects across France.
    • Canadian Solar on its acquisition of numerous UK-based solar projects.
    • Bluefield Solar Income Fund on its acquisition of numerous UK-based solar projects.
    • Mercuria on the disposal of carbon aggregators, MGM and EcoSecurities.
    • STEAG on its acquisition of Gildemeister Energy Solutions belonging to DMG Mori AG.

    Projects and Financing
    • Bioenergy Infrastructure Group in connection with refinancing of a 24MW refuse derived fuel gasification facility and a 21.5MW waste biomass plant in the UK, and its portfolio acquisition of 20 anaerobic digestion and biomass waste-to-energy assets, with a combined output of 70MW.
    • Gottex in connection with its investment in, management and disposal of energy from waste and biomass facilities in the UK.
    • BlackRock in connection with its acquisition of a portfolio of twenty five UK solar PV projects with a total capacity of 156 MW.
    • Bioenergy Infrastructure Group on EIG’s £120m ring-fenced financing of its portfolio of assets.
    • NextEnergy Solar Fund Limited on the EPC and O&M arrangements in relation to the acquisition and development of a UK-based solar portfolio with an aggregate power output of 50 MW, and subsidy-free solar projects, Hall Farm, Staughton, Llanwern and Strensham.
    • A major international investment manager on its bid for and due diligence in respect of a 500MW portfolio of wind assets located in the United Kingdom.
    • Future Earth Energy in relation to the financing, development and disposal of a refuse derived fuel gasification facility on the former Drakelow C Power Station in Burton upon Trent, UK.
    • Globeleq on the EPC and O&M arrangements in relation to the Phase IV 250MW expansion of the Azito gas-fired power project in Côte d’Ivoire.
    • AMEA Power on its EPC arrangements in relation to the 50 MWp Blitta solar project in Togo.
    • Conrad Energy on the power purchase agreements and gas supply agreements for its gas-fired peaking plant portfolio.

    Infrastructure
    • Infracapital, the infrastructure investment arm of M&G Investments, on its existing JV with Nokia to expand the operations of a fibre optic broadbank network across Poland.
    • Infracapital (and its 82% subsidiary Gigaclear) on the bid for the Scottish Government's rural broadband delivery tender 'R100'.
