Congratulations to our client Unifonic, a Riyadh-headquartered customer engagement platform, on closing its $125 million Series B financing round. The round was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Sanabil Investments. This round sets a new Series B investment record for technology startups in the Middle East and marks SoftBank’s first direct investment in a Saudi-based company.
The Orrick team advising Unifonic was led by Chris Grew and included Nick Hayes, Kirstie Parr, James Edwards, Rachel Conder, Steve Tallon, Aoife Casey, Jamie Larkin, Mike Yang, Samir Bakhru and Mara Vento. Orrick previously advised Unifonic on its Series A financing in 2018.
