The American Lawyer ranks Orrick #5 for pro bono impact among the nation’s top 200 law firms, marking the sixth consecutive year our firm has ranked in the top ten. We rank # 4 for our international pro bono impact.

The rankings reflect the firm’s broad commitment to making a social impact: 99 percent of our U.S. lawyers contributed at least 20 hours of pro bono service, averaging 124 hours, while nearly 80 percent of our lawyers internationally met that 20-hour standard. Our lawyers once again exceeded 100,000 pro bono hours worldwide.

“The commitment to making a social impact is something universal at Orrick. It helps define who we are, and why we matter as an institution.” said Orrick Chairman Mitch Zuklie. “That commitment is something that is not just talked about, it’s something we live, day in and day out.”

Earlier this year, the National Law Journal named Orrick to its Pro Bono Hot List for the fourth time.
