Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Names 2016 Fellows

Orrick employment law partner Chris Wilkinson has been selected to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2016 Fellows Program. He joins a class of more than 225 attorneys from around the country who have been selected as LCLD Fellows for 2016—the largest class in the program’s history. Launched in 2011, the year-long LCLD Fellows program identifies high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds and sets them on a path to leadership in their organizations.

"We are incredibly excited about the diverse attorneys who are joining the LCLD Fellows program and about the quality of these individuals," said Brad Smith, president of Microsoft Corporation and Chair of the LCLD Board, in a statement released by LCLD. "There are now 1,027 Fellows in this ground-breaking program, and each one of them benefits from it. At the same time, they strengthen the profession itself, bringing fresh, dynamic perspectives to their organizations."

Orrick has been an active member of LCLD since 2010. Past Orrick LCLD Fellows include Orrick partners Valerie Goo, Warrington Parker, Tony Kim, Eric Hairston and Darren Teshima. In addition, Gigi John, who recently joined Orrick’s Houston office from Andrews Kurth, also served as a LCLD fellow in 2015.

Orrick has also nominated associates Suzette Pringle and Vinella Sido to participate in LCLD’s newly launched Pathfinders Program which mentors high-potential, early career attorneys.
