Francesca Isgrò, Partner at Orrick, is responsible for the administrative law department.
Francesca Isgrò provides specialised out-of-court assistance to public bodies and public and private companies (both listed and unlisted) in all areas of public law. She also assists and defends her clients before courts of all types and degrees, including the Court of Justice of the European Union and arbitration panels, as well as before independent authorities.
Specifically, she assists contracting authorities (public and private), public companies (listed and unlisted), individual, grouped or consorted economic operators as well as the Public Administration in the context of public procurement in ordinary and special sectors, public works and services concessions, PPP, project financing and project leasing.
Recently, she has developed a specific experience in Golden Power matters, assisting public and multinational companies operating in the health, transport, energy and telecommunications sectors in the activation of the Golden Power notification procedure to the Government.
She was awarded at the Legalcommunity Litigation Awards 2021 as Lawyer of the Year in Administrative, Urban and Environmental Construction. In 2019, at the Top Legal Industry Awards she was awarded "Infrastructure Lawyer of the Year" while in 2017 at the Top Legal Awards she was awarded "Administrative Lawyer of the Year".
Upon appointment by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Francesca Isgrò was a member of the Board of Directors of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato and a member of the Board of Directors of Poste Italiane S.p.A.
She is a registered lawyer and also lectures on public companies and public procurement. She's also currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENAV.
