Orrick Expands Energy Transition Team with “Buy Side” Renewables Expert

  • Teresa Hill joins the firm as a partner in Seattle focused on assisting public and private companies in achieving their global “net zero” carbon commitments, with a particular emphasis on negotiating renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs).
  • Teresa is recognized as one of the true leaders in the “buy-side” market, acting for clients globally – and joins an Orrick team that has 20% market share in 2020 (based on total GW of capacity).
  • She will help Orrick’s portfolio of tech and industrial clients in meeting their “net zero” renewable energy procurement and ESG goals as energy transition continues on pace to become a defining business imperative globally.
  • Teresa joins Orrick from K&L Gates.

Teresa also advises clients in making investments in renewable energy technologies and platforms. She will collaborate closely with Orrick’s global Renewable Energy team, as well as the firm’s Public Companies and ESG practice.
