Congratulations to our partner Albert Vanderlaan named a top startup lawyer to electric vehicle companies by Business Insider. Albert is one of only nine lawyers named to the list. Over the past year, Albert advised electric vehicle startup Fisker on its $2.9 billion SPAC merger with Spartan Energy, counseled Luminar Technologies, a lidar autonomous driving technology company, on its $3.4 billion merger with Gores Metropoulos, and represented Volta Industries, an electric vehicle charging station operator, on its $1.4 billion business combination with SPAC Tortoise Acquisition.
