On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Honoris United Universities (investee company of Actis), the first and largest pan African private higher education platform, announced its strategic partnership with the world-leading coding bootcamp, Le Wagon.
This partnership aims to accelerate the education of computer literacy in Africa with a focus on driving employability. To unlock the full potential of the African job market and establish Africa as a leading continent for tech innovation, Honoris and Le Wagon are convinced that training talents in computer literacy is key. They will launch coding bootcamps across Africa by leveraging Honoris’ network universities and Le Wagon’s unique methodology for teaching immersive web development and data science courses. Mauritius and Morocco will host the first Le Wagon x Honoris bootcamps starting in February 2021.
