Orrick is a Seven-Time Women in Law Empowerment Forum Gold Standard Firm

June.18.2019

Orrick is honored once again to be named one of Women in Law Empowerment Forum’s (WILEF) Gold Standard firms. The WILEF certification recognizes firms that demonstrate a meaningful percentage of women among equity partners, in leadership positions and among the most highly compensated partners. Orrick is among a small group of firms that met all six of WILEF’s criteria.

Orrick’s commitment to women in leadership can be seen at the highest levels of the firm. Our board and management committee include five women. We are dedicated to investing in the next generation of women leaders at our firm through participating in Harvard Law School Women’s Initiative Leadership Executive Program, and by setting the bar for our industry on parental leave and flexible work arrangements.

Orrick’s efforts to retain and promote women lawyers have been recognized by Fortune as a Best Place to Work for Women, Yale Law Women as a top 10 family friendly firm and Working Mother magazine, which has consistently named Orrick to its list of the Best Law Firms for Women. We are also Mansfield Certified “Plus” for reaching at least 30 percent women and minority lawyer representation in a notable number of current leadership roles and committees.
