Four Orrick Partners Named Client Service All-Stars in Latest BTI Report

February.13.2015

Four Orrick partners were recognized in the BTI Client Service All-Stars 2015 report. Peter Bicks and Josh Rosenkranz were named to the All-Star MVP list, which recognizes 54 lawyers nationwide who "have had their superior service recognized by legal decision makers for two or more years in a row.” Brett Cooper and Christopher Moore were also named Client Service All-Stars.

Mr. Bicks is a trial lawyer with a track record of success nationwide in high-stakes cases involving intellectual property, mass tort, complex commercial disputes, corporate governance, accountant’s liability and bankruptcy. Recent wins include matters for DISH Network, Dow AgroSciences, Nintendo, Union Carbide and KBC Bank, among other longtime clients.

Mr. Rosenkranz leads the firm’s Supreme Court and Appellate Litigation team from the New York office. In 2014, Rosenkranz scored appellate reversals for a Leading Tech Company (U.S.) and Oracle in high-stakes IP cases. He is also currently representing Microsoft in a closely watched challenge to a U.S. government search warrant.

Mr. Cooper is a partner in Orrick’s Capital Markets Group in San Francisco who focuses on corporate finance, securities law, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for public companies, including a range of public and private equity and debt financings.

Mr. Moore focuses on project finance and corporate transactions in the renewable energy sector. He recently advised longtime client SunEdison, Inc. and its yieldco, TerraForm Power, Inc., in the acquisition of First Wind Holdings, LLC for approximately $2.4 billion.

These individual recognitions follow Orrick’s recent ranking as one of the 30 best US-origin law firms when it comes to client service in the BTI Client Services A-Team 2015 report, which describes this list as “the law firms clients name as reinventing how legal services are delivered.”
