Justin Mims

Justin Mims is a senior associate in Orrick’s Structured Finance Group. His practice focuses on advising leading investment banks, arrangers, underwriters, and investors in broadly syndicated and middle-market/private credit CLOs, secured commercial lending transactions (both syndicated and bilateral), and related structured finance products. Justin also has experience with commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and other securitized asset classes.

Justin was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Securities/Capital Markets Law in 2025 and by Super Lawyers as a 2025 North Carolina Rising Star in Securities & Corporate Finance Law.

He received his J.D., with high honors, from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he contributed to the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal. He also holds a B.S. in Business Economics and Management from the University of South Carolina.
