Orrick Advises Aptean on its acquisition of Paragon Software Systems

Orrick represented Aptean in connection with its recently announced acquisition of Paragon Software Systems Limited, a market-leading provider of transportation management software solutions serving the food and beverage, distribution and retail industries.

Aptean, which is jointly owned by funds managed and advised by TA Associates and Vista Equity Partners, is a global leader in enterprise business software and provides targeted ERP, supply chain management and industry-specific software solutions.

The London-based Orrick team was led by M&A and private equity partner James Connor with assistance from Shaun Malone, Elizabeth Monro-Davies, Natasha Ahmed, Alex Sobolev, Charlotte Oliver and Craig Johnston. Partners Jonathan Rosen, Ian Shaw and Nicola Whiteley provided tax, share incentives and employment advice respectively. Betty Louie and Martha Wang advised with respect to Paragon’s China operations.
