Alessandro De Nicola Named Italy's Corporate Lawyer of the Year for Second Consecutive Year

Congratulations to Orrick partner Alessandro De Nicola on being named Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year in Italy for the second consecutive year. Chosen by general counsels from leading Italian and international companies, Alessandro was honored during the Legalcommunity Corporate Awards 2019, held last week in Milan to celebrate corporate law excellence in Italy.

Legalcommunity, one of the primary and most respected legal reviews in Italy, recognized Alessandro for his ability to manage high-value, complex transactions and financial matters. Peers report that “He has a brilliant and truly innovative mind.”

Alessandro is a member of Orrick’s Board of Directors. He leads Orrick’s regulatory compliance team in Italy, which has advised virtually every Italian financial institution while also acting for Italy’s leading global companies.

Earlier this year, Alessandro was chosen by corporate counsel in Italy for the 2019 Client Choice Corporate Award. Last year, he was named Italy’s Senior Partner of the Year for his contributions to privacy law, as well as among the top 20 most influential and powerful lawyers in Italy, according to a list published by Legalcommunity.it and GQ.
