Our derivatives team provides transactional and cross-border regulatory advice to financial institutions, corporations, and other market participants on a wide range of derivatives products. We offer commercial solutions to drafting and negotiating master agreements, standard and bespoke credit support agreements, complex transaction confirmations, and ancillary documentation. Our services also include reviewing existing derivatives contracts and relationships and advising on restructuring derivatives portfolios and the early termination of transactions with defaulted counterparties and related mediations and other proceedings. In addition, our team advises clients on derivatives regulations, including under Dodd-Frank and EMIR, and helps them interpret Commodity Exchange Act implications relating to virtual currency and blockchain technology.
