Orrick is honored to be recognized by American Lawyer as a finalist for both overall national litigation department of the year and IP litigation department of the year.
Wins across disciplines contributed to these results, including trials and appeals in courtrooms across the country in financial services, tech, life sciences and AI matters involving patent, copyright, product liability/mass torts, contracts, securities, pay equity, employment and privacy claims, as well as pro bono matters.
In addition, our partner Will Stute is on American Lawyer’s shortlist for Litigator of the Year for his 3-0 jury trial record for the NCAA in a span of less than a year, including a landmark case impacting the future of college sports.
No other litigation team is a finalist in both the Litigation and IP categories – and none is on all three of these lists. The Recorder also has named us a finalist for California Tech Industry Litigation Department of the Year.
Overall winners are expected to be announced November 15.
