Orrick Advises Descartes Underwriting on $120 Million Series B

Congratulations to our client Descartes Underwriting on raising $120 million in its Series B financing round. Highland Europe led the round alongside Eurazeo, with participation from existing investors Serena, Cathay Innovation and Blackfin Capital Partners and new investors Seaya Ventures and Mundi Ventures.

Descartes Underwriting is an InsurTech company specializing in next-generation corporate insurance solutions to address climate and emerging risks. The company will use the new financing to scale its approach to corporate and public entity risk exposures, grow its technology platform and expand into new lines of business, while continuing its global expansion.
