HCCA's 27th Annual Compliance Institute: It’s De-identified, or Is It?

Thora Johnson will lead an “It’s De-identified, or Is It?,” panel discussion at the 27th Annual Compliance Institute hosted by the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Thora and her fellow panelist, the Privacy and Research Compliance Officer at the American College of Cardiology, will explore the HIPAA Safe Harbor and Expert Determination Methods of De-identification as well as compare and contrast HIPAA De-Identification with Anonymization/ Pseudonymization under GDPR. They will also discuss the evolving technologies and methodologies used to match disparate data sets.
