Congratulations to our client Deel, an international payroll company, on its $156 million Series C financing round. Led by YC Continuity and existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Spark Capital, the round also included , Lachy Groom, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jeff Wilke, and Anthony Schiller, among others. This financing brings Deel’s valuation to $1.25 billion. Deel plans to use the funds to continue its international expansion, grow its team and improve its product offerings.
The Orrick team advising Deel on this round was led by Josh Pollick and includes Isabel Ajuria, Andrew Barlow and Kaitlin Bagby. Orrick previously advised Deel on its Series A and B rounds.
