Orrick Advises Aptean on Open Systems Acquisition

Orrick has advised Aptean, a global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions, on its acquisition of Open Systems Adaptable Solutions (OSAS), an enterprise resource planning software solution provider. Through this transaction, OSAS will be able to extend Aptean's complementary offerings to its customers and leverage Aptean's global scale to accelerate its growth. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Orrick has advised Aptean on over 20 acquisitions since 2015, including most recently on its acquisitions of Paragon Software Systems, WorkWise, Innovative Systems and agiles. The Orrick team advising on the Open Systems deal was led by David Ruff and Peter Lamb and includes Kayla Southworth, Jamie Shinn, Marley Brison, Sarah Schaedler, Daniel Yost, William Wilson, Shaika Ahmed, Steven Malvey, Jason Flaherty, Keith Tidwell, Brian Patton, Elizabeth Adams Maas and Emelina Perez.
