Orrick Named to National Law Journal Appellate Hot List for the Eighth Time

October.28.2019

Orrick has been named to the National Law Journal’s Appellate Hot List for the eighth time, earning honors again for a string of success in the appellate courts and U.S. Supreme Court over the past year and a half.

The publication recognized our appellate team among 25 firms that won "key matters before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals, staying true to their practice philosophies along the way." Our Supreme Court and Appellate Practice won major rulings for clients such as Oracle, Credit Suisse and the dietary supplement industry during the time period, as well as important pro bono cases for veterans, immigrants and others in the justice system.

NLJ included a Q&A with partner Kelsi Brown Corkran, who discussed the firm's approach to building a successful appellate practice.

"We work closely with clients to ensure we truly understand what happened to them and how the dispute unfolded, which allows us to give voice to their perspective in a way that resonates with judges," she told the publication.
