Asian American Investment Managers

Sponsored Event | September.06.2017 - September.07.2017

Harvard Club of New York

Orrick is proud to sponsor the Association for Asian American Investment Managers' (AAAIM) 2017 National Conference. The theme of this year’s event is Shift: The Impact of Changes in the Current Economy. Noteworthy speakers include Congressman Ted Lieu, 33rd Congressional District of California, who will give a keynote on the economic policies affecting investments today under the current administration, and John Mack, Chairman Emeritus of Morgan Stanley, who will host a Fireside Chat.

Orrick’s Dolph Hellman, Yong-Nam Jun and Quinn Moss will all participate in panel discussions relating to challenges faced in forming VC, infrastructure and impact funds. In addition, our New York office will host the signature Young Professionals Session, a half-day discussion focused on professional development.

AAAIM’s annual conference is the national platform for Asian American investment managers across the major asset classes of private equity, hedge funds, public equities, fixed income and real assets to meet, conduct business and learn from insightful leaders and each other. The event gathers a broad range of investment professionals with common interests from public pension funds, other institutional limited partners, emerging managers and large investment firms.
