Orrick Advises National World on Its Acquisition of JPI Media

Orrick has advised National World, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) listed on the UK Main Market, on its acquisition of JPI Media Publishing Limited (JPI) and its subsidiaries – the third largest local news publisher in the UK, from JPI Media Limited for £10.2 million. As part of the acquisition, trading in the shares of National World will remain suspended until the company has published a prospectus relating to JPI Group, approved by the Financial Conduct Authority, and the shares are re-admitted to trading on the Standard List of the London Stock Exchange.
