Orrick Advises EOS Holding and Romande Energie on Acquisition of Solar and Wind Portfolios

Version française: Orrick a conseillé EOS Holding et Romande Energie dans le cadre de l’acquisition auprès de Acofi Gestion de deux portefeuilles solaire et éolien pour une puissance cumulée de 126 MW

Orrick advised EOS Holding and Romande Energie on the acquisition of two solar and wind portfolios with a combined capacity of 126 MW from Acofi Gestion.

These two portfolios consist of several photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 48MW, three wind farms with a total capacity of 37MW, and a diversified set of photovoltaic assets with a capacity of 41MW, all located in France. As a result of this transaction, EOS Holding now has a capacity of approximately 475MW, and Romande Energie France, a subsidiary of Romande Energie, has further enhanced its portfolio of wind and hydroelectric assets, which has been growing since 2013.

Orrick has been advising EOS Holding since 2011 and assisted the company with the refinancing of its wind portfolio in France in 2018.

EOS Holding and Romande Energie were advised by a multidisciplinary Orrick team led by George Rigo and including of counsel Gergana Rodriguez-Bacarreza and associate Cécile Renaud for the corporate law aspects, and partner Geoffroy Berthon and associate Janina Dahmouh for the regulatory aspects.
