Mark Davies Discusses Supreme Court’s Latest IP Decisions at Washington Legal Foundation Briefing

Supreme Court and appellate partner Mark Davies discussed the major intellectual property and patent decisions issued by the U.S. Supreme Court in its October 2013 term at a briefing by the Washington Legal Foundation on June 25, 2014. Mr. Davies’ comments focused on what the Court’s decisions in the CLS, Octane, Nautilus, and Aereo cases say about its substantive approach to patent law, its attitude towards the Federal Circuit as an institution, and the Court’s attitude towards its own set of IP cases.
