Orrick has advised SaaS technology company Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) in its acquisition of privately-held Azteca Systems (dba "Cityworks"), a provider of enterprise asset management (EAM) software. The acquisition will expand Trimble's strategy by adding an EAM software platform to its existing capabilities.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2019, subject to customary closing. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Orrick team advising Trimble was led by Matthew Gemello and included Ramy Shweiky, Thomas Joraanstad, Max Hyatt, Jevon Potts, Eric Wall, Hari Raman, Diana Gillis, Juliano Banuelos and Keith Tidwell.
