Deirdre Farrell is a lawyer in Orrick’s Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group in Seattle, Washington.
Deirdre maintains a broad complex litigation practice, representing individual and institutional clients at the trial and appellate level, both in state and federal court. Prior to Orrick, Deirdre worked as an associate at BakerHostetler in Seattle and New York, and at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York, where she worked on commercial litigation, investigation, mass tort and bankruptcy recovery matters. Before law school, Deirdre earned her certification as a Certified Public Accountant and worked in forensic accounting.
Deirdre was part of a team that earned Am Law Litigation Daily Litigator of the Week runner-up honors for their pro bono work representing Michael Sockwell, a man who spent 25 years on Alabama’s death row, in a successful habeas petition granting him a new trial by the Eleventh Circuit.
