Sheryl Kang is a member of Orrick's Global Employment and Equity Compensation practice in the New York office.

Sheryl’s practice focuses on cross-border employment law, advising multinational employers on a wide range of international workforce matters. She assists clients with international employment contracts, global employment policies, restrictive covenants, executive agreements, equity compensation, and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions. She also advises on the employment aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including employment due diligence, employee transfers, and post-closing integration.

Prior to joining Orrick, Sheryl practiced in the international employment group of a global law firm and in the private equity and M&A group of a leading firm as an employment specialist. Her combined experience in international employment counseling and transactional employment matters provides her with a nuanced understanding of the complex legal and operational challenges that multinational employers face when managing a global workforce.
