Victor is a Career Associate in the Houston office and a member of Orrick's Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Group.

Victor focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions, and advising on general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Orrick, Victor served as a corporate transactional lawyer at Latham & Watkins where he focused his practice on mergers and acquisitions. Victor's legal career started in Mexico City where he served as associate in the corporate business unit of leading multinational and domestic law firms, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and general corporate matters.

Victor earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Texas School of Law and received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He also obtained postgraduate diploma in Corporate Law from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM).

    • Trimble on the divestment of (i) Time and Frequency, (ii) LOADRITE, (iii) Spectra Precision Tools, and (iv) SECO accessories businesses to Precisional LLC, an affiliate of private equity firm The Jordan Company (2022).
    • Aptean on its acquisition of R.L.M. Apparel Software Systems (2022).
