With a passion for problem solving, Hridi advises clients from a variety of sectors on complex and multi-jurisdictional transactions.  Her practice covers advising borrowers, lenders and sponsors on a breadth of financings ranging from leveraged, asset and Islamic financings to real estate finance and restructuring.

Hridi graduated from the University of Toronto with a first class degree in International Development and, prior to law school, worked in the non-profit sector in both Canada and Ghana. 
  • Hridi’s experience includes advising on the following:

    • Voltalia in respect of its development of a 40MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Kopere in the Nandi County of Kenya
    • GuarantCo in relation to the provision of a guarantee in support of a US$60 million bond financing for GSEZ's economic zone development in Gabon
    • Equinix and GIC on €850 million project facilities to acquire and develop European data centres across the European FLAP region
    • GuarantCo and African Insurance Fund in relation to their provision of a guarantee in support of commercial project financing for the development of a 30MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Madagascar
    • A large Spanish Bank on a £100 million syndicated RCF to a hotelier
    • A large UK bank on a three-part acquisition financing of UK and German entities involving an international security package
    • A large UK Bank on a £150 million multi-currency RCF to a large commodities house
    • A large UK construction company on its $2 billion refinancing including the provision of facilities in the UK, Canada and Australia
    • A company with its listing on the LSE and £55 million acquisition finance
    • A real estate development financing facility for the construction of a hotel in Shoreditch, London
