Cacique is an associate in the Energy & Infrastructure group in Orrick's Houston office.

Cacique counsels  global energy companies, private equity funds and renewables developers on a wide range of transactions in the energy industry with a particular focus on renewable energy and oil & gas. He represents his clients in connection with the development, repowering, acquisition, and divestiture of wind, solar and energy storage projects, and the acquisition and divestiture of upstream oil and gas projects, the formation of joint ventures, and other corporate governance and legal due diligence matters.

Cacique also serves as a Major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and is a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom.

    • An energy company in the disposition of an interest in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
    • An energy company in an exchange of upstream U.S. Gulf of Mexico assets and related joint venture and development arrangements.

    • A global energy company with the negotiation of an engineering, procurement and construction agreement in Florida.

    • A solar energy developer in the negotiation of a power purchase agreement for the sale of power from a solar power generation facility with storage in California to a utility offtaker.
