Michael advises on M&A, private equity, venture capital and corporate law.

He advises private equity clients, VC clients, private companies, as well as publicly listed companies on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, private equity transactions and corporate law issues. Furthermore, he has a focus on venture capital and advises start-ups and their investors during financing rounds and beyond.

Michael has many years of experience with a particular focus on complex, often international corporate transactions and is listed by Legal 500 as a "Rising Star" in the private equity/venture capital sector.

    • Vantage Towers in connection with its extraordinary shareholders' meeting following the contribution of Vodafone’s majority shareholding into a newly set-up Joint Venture of Vodafone, KKR and GIP as well as the following take-private, the largest take private in Germany to date
    • Paulig Group, the international family-owned food and beverage company headquartered in Finland, on the sale of its stake in leading German spice manufacturer Fuchs to the majority shareholders of Fuchs Group
    • Comitis Capital on its acquisition of a majority stake in Berlin-based Cloud7, a leading brand in the premium dog accessories market in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
    • The founder of Herter & Co., a leading independent debt advisory and financial restructuring firm in Frankfurt, on the sale of the company to global financial advisory firm Teneo
    • Holland Capital and its Amsterdam-headquartered portfolio company Emixa, a full-service provider in digital transformation focused on the manufacturing industry, on the acquisition of LMtec Digital Solutions
