Bibeane ("Bibi") is a member of the firm’s Cyber, Privacy & Data Innovation group. She has significant experience as a former Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia handling trials, investigations, and litigation at all stages.
As an Assistant United States Attorney, she successfully investigated and resolved dozens of cases involving a variety of crimes of a complex and/or international nature. She tried cases to guilty verdicts including an eleven-count bank-fraud conspiracy case. Before becoming a federal prosecutor, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cathy Seibel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also was a litigation associate at two international law firms in New York City and Washington, D.C. At those firms, she worked on a broad array of civil matters spanning securities, antitrust, and civil rights litigation.
