Jennifer Jones brings 20 years of experience to complex product liability claims, high-stakes commercial contract disputes, multidistrict litigation, and class actions.
Jen represents manufacturers in lawsuits involving a wide range of products, and she represents manufacturers, financial institutions, and tech companies in commercial contract disputes. A key member of Orrick’s national litigation teams, Jen promotes cost-saving solutions by coordinating cases across jurisdictions and through proactive case planning. She develops innovative and cost-effective litigation strategies and keeps projects moving.
Jen is committed to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession and to pro bono work. She serves as Co-Chair of Orrick’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee for the GOIC, serves as Chair of the GOIC’s Women’s Initiative, and is an editor of Orrick’s Women’s Initiative Newsletter. Jen also has represented veterans to obtain social security disability benefits and has secured protection from abuse orders on behalf of women.
Prior to joining Orrick, Jen worked in the Business and Tort Litigation group as an associate at Jones Day in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jen's experience includes:
Union Carbide Corporation, a subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company. Jen was part of the national counsel team that successfully defended Union Carbide in asbestos litigation nationwide.
EFG Bank and Erste Abwicklungsanstalt. Jen is part of the Orrick team representing EFG in actions against AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company, Transamerica Life Insurance Company, and Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, arising out of their cost of insurance rate increases on universal life insurance policies.
