Eric focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, representing clients at all stages of high-stakes matters. This work includes defending emerging technology companies against copyright and trademark infringement claims arising from artificial intelligence, content generation, and online platforms. Eric uses substantial discovery and dispositive motion experience to advance his clients' interests pertaining to the intersection of technology and intellectual property law.
Eric maintains an active pro bono practice. In two different litigations on behalf of high school students who asserted discrimination claims, Eric secured settlements requiring high schools to change their policies and practices. Eric further secured asylum and eventual citizenship for his client and her three children.
Prior to joining Orrick, Eric served as a judicial extern to Judge R. Gary Klausner in the Central District of California and practiced at another international law firm.
