Alexis Savini, a senior associate in the Technology Companies Group based in Orrick’s Silicon Valley office, advises high-growth technology companies at all stages of the startup life cycle, from formation to exit (and everything in between).
Alexis represents technology companies across various sectors including artificial intelligence, healthtech, energy technology, SaaS and fintech. She counsels founders, executives and boards on venture capital financings and regularly collaborates with leading venture capital firms on complex, multi-disciplinary transactions. Alexis also works with Orrick's innovation team to develop tools to drive legal efficiency for the firm's startup clients.
Alexis has represented leading tech companies including Dataiku, K Health, Stripe, Casetext (sold to Thomson Reuters), Sourcegraph, Jasper AI, Apollo Graph, Fireworks, Speak, Khloud, 818, Sprinter Spirits and Expanse (sold to Palo Alto Networks). Alexis also works closely with many companies backed by Y Combinator and South Park Commons, among other accelerators.
In addition to startup representation, Alexis regularly provides pro bono legal advice to local legal aid groups including Community Legal Services of East Palo Alto. Prior to law school, Alexis worked at the Northern California Innocence Project as a case analyst and eShares (now Carta) as a cap table analyst.
